Nobu in Long island? Kotoburki in Roslyn

June 9, 2008

Kotoburki is known as Nobu in Long Island, I recently visited the Roslyn location and you will be amaze how popular this restaurant is in the Island. I wait for almost 30 minutes for a table. The decoration is simple and nice, my waiter was friendly and he recommends dishes that are popular. I ordered the yellow tail jalapenos sashimi, which is a similar dish from the “real” Nobu, But the price is much more reasonable. The marinated sashimi is very good, it has a little lemon and spicy taste. I also ordered a Shrimp GoGo, which is a deep fried roll with Shrimp meat inside, that was ok, a little too oily. I also had the grill sea bass, and that was great, it was perfect, the fish was so tasty and well cook, that I almost order another one. Kotoburki offers large portion which is great for customer, the price is reasonable and I will definitely go back and try other items on the menu. I saw people in the next table have the sushi for two and the portion was so much that it can feed four people! Definitely worth the money,
